Ward 7 deserves a councillor who is accessible, responsive and accountable — throughout the entire term, not just at election time.

My commitment is simple: keep residents informed, make it easier to raise concerns, follow up on issues, and ensure Ward 7 has a strong voice at City Hall.

  • Residents should hear regularly from their councillor — and their councillor should be listening.

    As your Ward 7 councillor, I will:

    • Hold quarterly Ward 7 town halls

    • Provide a monthly Ward 7 newsletter with Council decisions, neighbourhood projects and upcoming issues

    • Use social media regularly to provide updates and gather feedback

    • Use resident polls and surveys when Ward 7 issues arise

    • Explain City Hall decisions in clear language and how they affect our neighbourhoods

    Residents should not have to search for information about what is happening in their community.

  • One of my priorities will be establishing a better system for tracking constituent concerns.

    When you contact me, you should know that your concern has been received, who is dealing with it and what happens next.

    The process should be simple:

    • Your concern is received and acknowledged

    • The appropriate City department is identified

    • Follow-up actions are tracked

    • You receive updates as the issue progresses

    • The matter remains open until it is resolved or a final response is provided

    If you bring an issue forward, you deserve a response, an update and accountability.

    Tracking concerns will also help identify recurring neighbourhood problems so we can address patterns instead of treating every complaint as an isolated issue.

  • Councillors serve on boards and committees where many important City decisions begin.

    I do not intend to simply occupy a seat.

    I will come prepared, read the reports, ask questions, challenge recommendations when necessary, follow up on commitments and make sure Ward 7's interests are represented.

    Most importantly, I will report back to residents so you know what decisions are being made and why they matter to our community.

What Sets Me Apart

This election is about experience — and the kind of experience Ward 7 needs to move projects forward and deliver results.

I bring more than 25 years of professional leadership experience in communications, community investment, governance, financial stewardship and community engagement.

Throughout my career, I have:

  • Managed significant budgets and multi-year community investment portfolios

  • Served in leadership and governance roles, including Treasurer, Vice President and committee chair

  • Served on major community and institutional boards, including the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation and the University of Windsor Board of Governors

  • Built partnerships with businesses, charities, healthcare organizations, educational institutions and community groups throughout Windsor-Essex

  • Helped bring organizations and people together to turn ideas into successful projects and initiatives

I understand how large organizations operate. I understand governance. I understand what should be decided in open council and when decisions should be made behind closed doors (in-camera). I know how decisions get made, how budgets are managed and — most importantly — how to bring people together to move an idea from discussion to action.

Getting things done requires relationships, collaboration and persistence. You have to bring City administration, Council, community organizations, businesses, other levels of government and 

Every dollar City Hall spends belongs to taxpayers. I will approach City finances the same way I have throughout my career: understand the numbers, ask the right questions, establish clear priorities and demand accountability for results.

My Commitment

You should know what your councillor is working on.

You should know where your concerns stand.

And you should know how decisions at City Hall affect your neighbourhood.

I will be accessible, responsive and accountable.

I will not simply hold a seat at Council.

I will use it to give Ward 7 a strong and effective voice — and to get things done.
